Sleeping Baby

Well, apparently Mommy snuck in and shot this picture of me while I was sleeping.  She said something about me looking really sweet with Lovey in my arms.  And yes, Mommy and Daddy now break all the rules and let me sleep with Lovey on occasion! 

Look at what I learned!

Well, after Grammy spent all week in Newport singing this sweet jam "Clap, Clap, Clap" to me, now I can clap!! Mommy and Daddy say I'm awfully young to be doing this, but I'm hoping that with a few more tricks like this, they'll let me into Mommy's school next year so I won't have to go to daycare!!   Check out my videos:

Spriiiiiing Breeeak!

Mommy and Daddy were on Spring Break, and Grammy and Grandad were, too, so we all met up in Newport, Rhode Island for the week!  It was a blast (but cold)!  We went for lots of walks, and we even toured one of the big mansions there.  It belonged to some guy named Vanderbilt.  It was pretty nice, I guess, but he needs a Jumperoo or two.  I liked to grab the fancy curtains and look out the windows.  Then we went to Block Island (note to self: don't go to Block Island in the winter), and Providence, too.  I got to spend a lot of time with my Grammy and Grandad, and we read lots of books.  I also helped everyone with their NCAA picks (sorry about that Georgetown recommendation, Daddy!).

Mommy and Daddy signed me up for swim classes! We go every Saturday. I'm learning to swim at the same pool where Mommy learned! I like the water. It's warm, and it's fun to splash around in it. I even got to use a kick board! (although I'm not sure why, really. I mean, I'm seven months old. What am I gonna do with a kick board?).

My friend Riley!

With all the excitement of the last month (eating solids, sitting up...you know, the big stuff), I forgot to post a pic from my playdate with my new friend Riley! Her mommy and daddy are friends with my mommy and daddy. They used to live across the street from each other in a place with a funny name...Manayunk! HA! Man, that'll never get old. Anyway, they all came to visit us last month and Riley and I had a great time. We mostly just rolled around next to each other, and Riley was kind enough to let me chew on her fingers for awhile. Yum!
